Matt Neuman, PA-C, MPAS brings 10+ years of orthopedic experience to Bridger Orthopedic. His initial interest in physiology and medicine began while working as a grizzly bear biologist in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem specializing in wildlife capture and pharmacologic immobilization.
Matt attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS).
For the first 5 years of his career, Matt worked as a surgical PA in a busy orthopedic clinic and served as a first assistant in the operating room. Matt joined Bridger Orthopedics in 2018. He has helped develop the Urgent Care walk in clinic into the orthopedic and sports medicine focused clinic that it is today.
His special interests in orthopedics include management of upper extremity injuries including the hand/wrist, knee injuries, orthopedic trauma, and sports medicine.
Matt serves as the clinical director of Bridger Orthopedic Urgent Care. As the lead provider, Matt has strong focus on building an elite, knowledgeable team in the urgent care to provide the best regional option for same day, walk in access to orthopedic providers. He strives to create a patient centered environment with responsive providers, to improve and expedite patient care within the Gallatin Valley and surrounding communities. He has a core belief and strong drive to create the best medical experience for each individual patient.
Matt helped to develop and open the newest Bridger Orthopedic office in Belgrade, MT in May 2024. Matt manages walk-in orthopedic specific urgent care clinics in Bozeman, Belgrade, and Big Sky.
As a 3rdgeneration Montanan, Matt enjoys time outdoors with his wife, son, and daughter with activities including biking, skiing, trail running, fishing, camping, and gardening.
