Eric Leber, PA-C, is proud to join Bridger Orthopedic Team caring for patients in Urgent Care and getting back to his roots in Sports Medicine. Eric was raised in a small town in southern Illinois before attending Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic training, Physical Education and Teaching, and while earning his Officers Commission in the United States Army. He worked 8 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer, the last 6 of which were at Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. During that time, he worked with the Indianapolis Colts, Butler University, and North Central High School, as well as U.S. Swimming and Diving team. These experiences reinforced the importance of teamwork and dedication to developing the healthiest athlete possible.
Driven by his desire to become a PA, he attended Stony Brook University, Long Island, New York, graduating in 2002. He and his wife Erin moved to Montana following his graduation, to live in and explore the Rocky Mountains. He began his PA career in orthopedic surgery in Butte, MT, where he worked with Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology, and spent 17 years in Emergency Medicine.
Along with his wife, raising their two children in Montana has been a dream come true. They stay busy with their kids' sports, hunting, fishing, backcountry trips with their pack llamas, gardening, and honeybees.
